Re: [lgbt-india] Hinduism does not condemn gay people: UK Hindu Council

Hello Everyone,
Some of us have created a split in the BJP anf the Hindu religious groups. Prof Prakash Kothari and I have worked with several Hindu religious leaders quoting Varamihra and Vatsayana who have tried to normalise same sex relations in their writing. Even Manu's penal provisions are rather light (having a cold water bath with clothes on which I can accept gleefully in summer).
We need war councils on how to tackle and split the bJP and vHP wide open as it is no use preaching to the converted liberal elements.
In any case this is going to be a concerted effort.
regards
Ashok Row Kavi
